DEVELOPMENTS

• Moloney/Garcia: Drilla goes for the Drilla Killa on Danny; Marina gets on the apron and pulls him down right in front of Stephon Smith. Danny schoolboys Drilla for a near fall, they exchange strikes, and Danny tries to roll back through into the Dragontamer but Drilla catches him for the piledriver this time.
• There's some miscommunication between Bayne and Kross as Thunder Rosa and Olympia give them a run for their money, but Divine Dominion are able to isolate Rosa and hit Divine Intervention to retain the championships.
• Moxley/Bandido: Mox is heavily targeting the mask of Bandido, nearly ripping the left side of it completely open, and pushing the rules of the match to their limits. Bandido is frequently distracted by needing to readjust the mask both to keep it in place and to keep the blood out of his eyes.
• Mox has a bulldog choke in on Bandido towards the end. Bandido's able to return to his feet and goes for a Hail Mary backpack senton. Mox's grip on a rear naked choke doesn't break, though, and Bandido stops responding to Aubrey Edwards, who calls for the bell.
• BRODY KING comes out after the match to check on Bandido. Mox motions for him to back off, bringing Bandido to his knees, lying the title out between them, and offering Bandido his hand as a sign of respect. Maybe "earning Moxley's respect" isn't necessarily something to be attained if it entails being disrespected in basically every way possible leading up to it, but such is life.
• JON MOXLEY is in the ring to confront Shota Umino after the latter's successful defense of his title; Umino, formerly a protegé of Moxley's, was attacked by Gabe Kidd recently and told that he's been formally disowned by the Death Riders. Umino used the Paradigm Shift before hitting a Northern Lights Bomb to beat PAC. Umino and Moxley stare down for a minute before HIROSHI TANAHASHI comes down the ramp. Mox leaves with Marina and PAC in tow and Tanahashi fastens the belt on Umino. It takes him like 20 seconds to do it. I guess they're not using Velcro in New Japan.
• Thekla/Starlight Kid: TARO OKADA, ever the glutton for punishment, is in the front row to see Starlight Kid's challenge for the AEW Women's World title. Okada looks scared as fuck.
• It doesn't take long for Thekla to get in Okada's face at ringside and grab him by the collar. She goes to strike him but Starlight Kid grabs her hand to pull her back. The crowd boos this. Poor guy.
• Starlight Kid's giving Thekla a run for her money, moreso than really any of her other challengers for this title have. SLK gets Numero Dos Stretch Muffler locked in, hits Black Tiger's Divine Punishment multiple times, and sends her knees straight into Thekla's ribs on a moonsault, but Thekla is somehow able to escape cleanly. SLK, for her part, energetically escapes a near fall off a spear.
• Desperation time for Thekla, but Starlight Kid is worse for wear. Thekla hits a curbstomp, then points at Okada before doing another for the pinfall to retain. The SISTERS OF SIN swarm the ring and Thekla rips Starlight Kid's mask off. She proceeds to go over to Okada at ringside and hits him in the head multiple times with it. I believe the Forbidden Door logo on the back of the mask is metal and she got a pretty good swing in on him so that couldn't have felt good.
• Dogs/C&C: Cage & Cope hit a flapjack to spear combo on David Finlay that should have him wiped out for good, but Clark Connors barrels over Christian into referee Stephon Smith, prompting Nigel at commentary to exclaim "Christian Cage attacked the referee!" Connors and Copeland proceed to double spear each other and both go down.
• Finlay produces the shillelagh and bashes Cage in the neck with it. He turns his attention to Copeland, the legal man once Smith recovers, but THE LIGHTS GO OUT! and the BANG BANG GANG appear on the stage to do their entrance minus music. The lights come back on and JAY WHITE is in the ring in all black behind Finlay's back. Finlay knows what this means, and turns around to try to truck White, but he gets caught into the Blade Runner. Copeland spears Finlay and White rouses the referee to get back in the ring and make the count.
• Jay gives the title belts to Cope and Cage. He's got no issue with Copeland, but exchanges words with Cage, who he's got a history with. Jay celebrates with the rest of the Bang Bang Gang on the ramp. 
• It is now at this point that I am nearly seven shows behind on recaps. I have basically given up on catching up with full recaps and will probably just do results with basic points until Redemption. My executive dysfunction is undefeated I suppose
• Moné/World: Maya kicks out of the Moné Maker deep into this match
• Maya taps out to the Statement Maker wrenched back probably as far as Mercedes has ever done it after surviving the standard hold a minute prior for probably 30+ seconds and nearly taking a flash pinfall
• ATHENA talks shit on Maya with Renee in the stands afterwards and accidentally owns herself by saying that her students all fucking suck
• Death's Door: Team DCMJF comes out entirely in the shitty shirts Don had made for them
• Don Callis throws Walker Stewart off comms before the match starts
• Andrade and MJF get into a shoving match and the rest of the team tries to break it up before Roderick Strong wipes them all out with the hockey bag he came in with 
• Kyle O'Reilly brains Kyle Fletcher with an NES; Briscoe brings out the tacks but gets Mother F'n Bombed into them by Fletcher; Darby proceeds to eat a flipping back body drop facefirst into them. Gross. MJF then brings out a push broom to send them all to the floor
• Kevin Knight hits a wholesale Van Terminator on Darby but Mark Briscoe breaks up the pin
• MJF for some reason demands Okada open the hockey bag that's at ringside and LIO RUSH is inside. Lio is smitten with MJF's Dynamite Diamond Ring, but Okada hits him with the Rainmaker and Jake Doyle and Kevin Knight put him back in the bag
• Takeshita hits a fucking incredible Blue Thunder Bomb on Fletcher off the apron through a table that spurs Don Callis to jump off commentary to check on him
• Darby chases Kevin up to the top of the cage. Kevin goes and retrieves the backpack that Darby brought into the match and it fucking explodes and he falls through a stack of tables
• Mark hits the Jay Driller on Max but Jake Doyle breaks up the pin. Jake is all in on this and he goes to hold Mark but Max demands that Andrade hold him instead for some reason. Andrade argues with him, telling him to do it himself as the crowd chants "take your pants off" at him. Andrade reluctantly grabs Mark and holds him up for a ring shot but as Max charges, Andrade drops him and hits Día De Los Muertos on Max. Jake Doyle tries to argue with him and he repeatedly yells "I DON'T CARE" before kicking him in the balls, taking off his shirt, then ripping off his dress shirt underneath to reveal a tank top that reads "FUCK DON FUCK MJF" on it. Andrade tells Mark to hit the Jay Driller on Doyle, which he does, and wins the match
• We find out after the match that Briscoe intends on cashing in his title shot on Dynamite the following Wednesday 
• Strickland/Ospreay: Swerve has a new tron tonight, getting rid of his return tron from about 8 months ago that looked like it was the logo of a Five Nights at Freddy's fangame from 2016. Unfortunately this one does not look much better
• Ospreay targets the arm early and actually gets Swerve to immediately submit to Death Ground on the floor, but it can't end the match because it's not in the ring. Prince Nana responds to this by throwing coffee (pretty sure it was just water) in Will's face
• Will takes the exposed turnbuckle to his face and immediately gigs like a motherfucker. He's leaking onto the pads at ringside. Full crimson mask in like two minutes
• Ospreay tries to get the Styles Clash in on the floor and can't so he just says fuck it and whips Swerve into the side of the stairs big style and it's fuckin beast. Swerve is now also opened up and bleeding like a bastard
• Will has Swerve in powerbomb position on top of the stairs which have been moved next to comms; Nana distracts him so he goes to attack Nana instead and runs into a House Call
• Will and Swerve do the Ospreay-Danielson standoff spot where they charge each other and try to hit first. Will gets the Hidden Blade and then hits the Storm Breaker and Swerve kicks out for some reason lol then he low blows Will and then Will kicks out of the Vertebreaker and then Swerve hits the Hidden Blade and Big Pressure and then Will kicks out of that too so like I don't know why we did any of this
• The Death Riders are now here in their entirety at ringside to yell at Will to win the match. Will responds to this by no-selling a House Call, hits a Hidden Blade, then a Buckshot Hidden Blade and Swerve kicks out so Will hits a Paradigm Shift then a Death Rider then a Tiger Driver that the camera completely fucking misses and blows the finish and Will wins
• Claudio daps up Mox at ringside and Mox starts doing the double bicep taunt. Brother what did you do you showed up with 2 minutes left
