DEVELOPMENTS

• Champs getting some heat in after the 5-minute eliminator; Megan wipes out Daniels with a boot before they hit Divine Intervention on Viva. TAY MELO and ANNA JAY run in with weapons to make the save.
• AJ and QT come out with a big ass walking thing of Vita Coco.
• QT Marshall gets up on the top but Stephon Smith gets distracted and Christyan XO crotches him. The Rizzler and Harley Cameron walk over to taunt at her. Christyan shoves Harley so they get into a catfight which Harley wins in about 3 seconds. She high fives the Rizzler.
• There's a big ass tower of doom spot happening before the end. Big Justice throws a bunch of coconut water into the faces of the members of STP that are on top to disorient them. I think this spot is supposed to top off with QT doing a Blockbuster but QT loses his balance and crashes and burns all the way off the top turnbuckle to the floor. They do the spot anyway and AJ pins Carlie to win. AJ got color the hard way somehow
• EDDIE KINGSTON, ORTIZ, and MANCE WARNER are here to chase off Shane Taylor Promotions. They're still bitter about losing that 6-man tag title match a couple weeks ago.
• Mick Foley and Renee Paquette are talking in the ring about the main event. Mick predicts that Darby's going to hang onto the title tonight and now MJF comes out pissed as fuck. He says people consider Mick a legend even though in the biggest moments of his career, all he did was fail. Max tells Mick that he and Darby are a lot alike: they're underdogs, and when their backs are against the wall, they do what they do best: lose.
• Mick says he's going to give Max a piece of advice, and a piece of history: he lost a lot of matches in his career, but not only could The Rock recall that he won quite a few too, he also never lost one in 2 minutes and 15 seconds. "Unless you want to be known as the man whose matches can time an egg, you better put your big boy pants on, because you've got Darby Allin to contend with!"
• Max kicks Mick in the nuts and tries to go for a ring shot but DARBY ALLIN is here to make the save. That chases Max off and now Mick addresses Darby, saying that he didn't know until a month ago that he was an inspiration to Darby. Foley tells Darby to win one for the weird ones tonight.
• Dax tries to wrap barbed wire around his elbow pad and charges Christian in the corner who repels him. Christian then wraps that around the rope and drop toe holds Dax into it and chokes him on the rope. He also takes Paul Turner's belt and whips him with it. Paul sells this by repeatedly adjusting his pants.
• Dax produces a toolbox from the timekeeper's area. Christian cuts him off in the ring and takes out a pair of pliers and uses it on Dax's mustache before grabbing Cash by the balls with them. They then obliterate him with a chair. They also hit a spike piledriver on Copeland on the Spanish announce desk.
• A cinder block has been taken to the cast on Christian's left arm. They put his arm inside the block and Pillmanize it several times as if that would do anything. Christian teases like he's going to say he quits but instead says "I banged your mother."
• Stokely is unscrewing the entire top turnbuckle. He gives it to Dax who charges Christian but instead gets cut off by a spear and chokes Dax. We then hear Dax's real voice. Christian eats a Shatter Machine after Cash chokes him with barbed wire. Cash grabs the microphone, says "this big pussy is gonna quit" and hits him with a wrench but Copeland hits them both with spears.
• Cash from the floor tells Copeland he'll say it but it's a diversion for Stokely to hit him in the face with the watch he stole from Christian. That staggers Edge long enough for FTR to hit the Shatter Machine. He rolls out as Stokely celebrates in the ring--but BETH COPELAND has returned to get her revenge. Stokely meets her at the stage and they brawl down to the ring but Dax ambushes her and throws her into the side of the ring steps.
• As FTR usually do when they see a woman, they have decided it is time to kill Beth Copeland. Dax pours an entire bottle of lighter fluid onto a table and lights it as Stokely holds Beth in place on the apron for Cash to spear her. As Cash is charging, Beth slips away, leaving Stokely to take the full spear into the flaming table.
• Dax is alone now, but Edge is still wiped out in the ring, so he goes to conchairto him. He demands Edge quit if he wants to see his daughters tomorrow. Beth in the corner has been playing possum though, and low blows him as he lifts up the chair. Christian also runs up and punts him in the balls. Adam spears him.
• Edge and Christian get Dax into a sharpshooter and crossface at the same time. Somehow that's not enough, and Adam signals for Beth to retrieve Spike, who has been under the ring stairs on the west side. Adam has given up the crossface and instead just shoves Spike into the top of Dax's head and this is enough to finally get Dax to say the magic words.
• Don Callis on commentary for Okada-Takeshita. He says after this match he's going to meet up with Davis and the boys to prepare for the Stampede.
• Takeshita lands on his feet out of a German suplex and tries the Blue Thunder Bomb, that's countered into a tombstone that's countered into the Bastard Driver that Takeshita hits into a wheelbarrow suplex. Okada takes it but scrambles to his feet and hits a dropkick that Takeshita beasts and takes a swing but Okada takes a rear waistlock and hits a discus lariat.
• Okada and Takeshita are jockeying for position on the apron that ends with Okada hitting the Rainmaker from inside the ring to Takeshita on the apron. Takeshita is in a bad way and it's not much better when he gets DDTed firmly on the floor. Okada now wants to piledrive Takeshita on the floor but Don Callis gets up from comms and pleads with him not to; Okada gets in the ring, evidently content with a countout.
• Before Rick Knox gets to six, Takeshita stirs, and Okada decides to yield that position in the ring to go back after him. He picks up Takeshita, but Takeshita quickly takes control and hits a gnarly brainbuster on the floor. Don is livid but Takeshita is matching his energy basically forcing him back into his seat.
• Back in the ring, Takeshita hits the nastiest fucking Helluva Kick I've seen in a long time. He gets a superplex and tries to maintain control for Raging Fire to put this one to bed but Okada slips out and goes for the Rainmaker. Takeshita cuts it off by kicking that right arm, hits a forearm shiver, and for the first time in AEW, hits Okada with a fucking German suplex BALLS STYLE for a near fall. Take tries the Power Drive but Okada counters into the tombstone for a double down.
• Okada gets the better of a meaty strike exchange but Takeshita refuses to be denied, fighting back and eventually trying for a discus lariat. Okada counters into a Rainmaker attempt that Takeshita turns into the Blue Thunder Bomb. Popping back up, he wants the Power Drive again and once more he's caught, this time into a partial Emerald Flowsion. Another Rainmaker attempt is also intercepted by Takeshita, who drops Okada on his head in an inside cradle before floating over for a 2 count.
• Okada backslides Takeshita into a disgusting short-arm lariat. Wrist control is maintained but Takeshita ducks the second and hits the ropes straight into a dropkick. This time Okada's Rainmaker effort is countered by Takeshita just fucking hitting it himself but for the third time, the Power Drive is countered with another dropkick. Takeshita just beasts it and hits the knee from where he's standing anyway. Okada shoves Takeshita off him at 1 but is unable to mount any kind of return offense. He literally braces himself on Takeshita looking up at him so Takeshita winds up and takes his fucking head off with a forearm, hits a Raging Fire that lands Okada on his side, and claims what's his.
• Don briefly enters the ring to congratulate Takeshita before turning his attention to Okada. After Takeshita's done celebrating on the turnbuckles, he turns around to see Don and Okada with MARK DAVIS and ROCKY ROMERO. Don, Mark, and Rocky all have words for Takeshita, so Takeshita squares up to fight when KYLE FLETCHER's music hits. He charges down to the ring and exchanges glances with Takeshita before bowing up to Okada, prompting Don and the others to back off.
• ProtoShita embrace finally in the ring with Kyle taking the championship belt and presenting it to Takeshita, lifting his arm--before wiping him out with a lariat. Takeshita doesn't even have the energy to be outraged, just lying there looking up at him. Don, Okada, and Rocky are all smiles; Davis looks surprised more than anything but makes no effort to intervene. Kyle squats besides Takeshita, smirking as the crowd chants "ASSHOLE" at him, before picking him up by the hair. Takeshita is trying to fight back but has nothing in the tank. Kyle tells Takeshita "you knew this was coming" several times before hitting him with a brainbuster.
• Both Fletcher and Okada go to pick up the International Championship belt; Okada yields to Fletcher as Rocky and Davis pick up Takeshita one more time and hold him in place for Fletcher to hit him with the belt. He and Okada dap up as the Family finally exits, allowing medical to finally get to Takeshita.
• Athena wipes out the right side of the video barricade with a dropkick to Mina early on here.
• Mina goes for the figure 4 on Athena but she gets sent to the ropes before being caught with a headscissors to ground her. Mina charges back but Athena sweeps the leg and then hits a fucking nasty Super Dragon curbstomp for a 2 count. Athena's been fighting through a lot of knee pain this match after having it heavily targeted by Shirakawa in the early goings.
• Athena tries the O-Face off the second but can't get Mina all the way down. Mina performs a somewhat awkward O'Connor roll for a 2. She hits the ropes, ducks a line, and spikes Athena off a tijeres and applies a modified Seatbelt for another near fall.
• Mina gets the best of a strike exchange with a spinning backfist that wipes out Athena and allows her to apply the figure 4 but Athena's able to reach the bottom rope. She's still in a bad way, though, and hits another backfist before trying for the Glamorous Driver. She can't get it, though, and after briefly jockeying for position, Athena tombstones her before hitting the O-Face to take the win. Athena returns to the semifinal of the Owen, where she's been twice before but has yet to escape.
• Lot of grappling and dick-measuring in the early goings of this Continental title match.
• Kyle's trying to focus heavily on the leg of Moxley to prepare for the ankle lock. He's on a long string offense before he gets Moxley against the ring post and starts throwing martial arts kicks. Moxley sidesteps one, though, and Kyle's left foot meets solid metal.
• When they try to initiate a strike exchange in the ring shortly after and Kyle throws a kick at the back of Moxley's knee he crumbles. Moxley starts working over that left leg and maintains control over the next several minutes.
• Moxley tries for a third Dragon Screw of the match on Kyle but KOR stays on his feet and drops into a juji gatame which he's searched for several times before transitioning into picking the ankle. Mox has no answer for this, but he won't tap out, so Kyle yields the hold and instead just stomps on the left ankle of Moxley before PKing him.
• Mox rolls out and psychs himself up before getting back in where Kyle immediately curbstomps him. Moxley answers with an Ace Crusher for a double down.
• Mox wins a strike exchange and hits the Death Rider into a rear naked choke. He tries to lie down into it but Kyle rolls through and picks the left ankle again. Mox is able to take Kyle's left ankle during this. Kyle yields the hold to get a 2 count on the supine Moxley but Mox gets the left shoulder up without surrendering his grip. There's nowhere for Kyle to go; Mox can't be dragged and they're in the center of the ring. Kyle gives up.
• The Death Riders come out to celebrate with Moxley; in the opposite corner, The Conglomeration come out to check on Kyle. Both men get to their feet and Moxley exchanges some words with Kyle before the two shake hands
• Ospreay hot starts on Joe with an OsCutter and we're off to the races.
• Ospreay hits a house show to the floor and a springboard 450 in the ring for a 2 count before trying to get the juji gatame locked in. Joe won't let him get to full extension and forces a rope break. Will wants a Hidden Blade but Joe rolls to the floor so Ospreay tries the Sasuke Special but comes up short and Joe grabs the Coquina Clutch. Ospreay forces Joe back into the barricade twice so Joe relinquishes the hold and just chucks Will into the board.
• Joe's getting a lot of heat over the next few minutes but gets cut off when Will gets his knees up on an attempted big boy senton. Will's focusing on the left arm of Joe including a double stomp to it off the second while Joe's using it to brace himself on the ropes. Ospreay gets a 2 off a back handspring corkscrew kick. He tries for another OsCutter but Joe nopes out of the way before turning around video game style and hitting the big boy senton for a 2.
• Joe hits a powerbomb for a 2 and maintains control into a Boston Crab the long way. He transitions into an STF before yielding the leg hook and wrenching Ospreay's right arm back. Will gets his foot on the rope. He eats a series of PKs, firing up after each one into a strike exchange that Joe gets the better of.
• Joe wants a short-arm lariat but Ospreay floats all the way over and somehow hits the Styles Clash for a 2. A Hidden Blade also gets a near fall, and Ospreay takes down the elbow pad for a second one. Joe catches him into a snap powerslam for a double down.
• Joe sends Ospreay off the ropes who goes around for an attempted La Mística but can't get the arm. Instead he goes back into the flying armbar but can't get Joe's arm extended. Joe stacks Ospreay for a 2 and then takes the Coquina Clutch. Will's able to get to his feet and flips back into a pin for his own 2-count. Ospreay gets a thrust kick and tries to charge Joe in the corner but gets countered with the STJoe.
• Joe now gets the Coquina Clutch again and has it for the next 40 seconds as Ospreay fades. Bryce Remsburg does a 3-count arm raise, and on the third, Will grabs the rope to force a break. Joe wants the Muscle Buster but he's got Ospreay too far back and Will springs out and hits a nasty Hidden Blade off the ropes for a one count, gets up, and wipes him out with another Hidden Blade to the back of the neck to take the win. Joe bows to Ospreay as he leaves the ring.
• Swerve and Bandido start fast; Bandido's got a lot of kinesio tape on his shoulder and neck.
• Bandido's got control for the first several minutes of this match until he tries a spear in the corner and Swerve sidesteps. Thus begins the heat.
• Bandido pops up Swerve but he lands standing on the shoulders of Bandido and kicks him in the back of the head before hitting the Swerve Stomp off the top for a 2.9. Bandido responds by hitting a Poisonrana off the apron to the floor because he's a psychopath lol
• Bandido hits a grounded 21 Plex that realistically should have put Strickland away, but he's unable to keep the bridge because of the pressure on his injured shoulder and neck and loses the pin at 1. They trade sunset flips and Bandido tries to hit a Code Red; Swerve hangs on and pops him up for a powerbomb but Bandido instead spikes Strickland on the top of his head with a Hurricanrana.
• Bandido has Swerve up for the traditional 21 Plex but can't get enough momentum to rebound and Swerve takes the Vertebreaker hold, drops Bandido on his shit, hits the House Call, and walks away the winner. It's a frustrating high-profile, albeit non-title, loss for the ROH champion.
•  The women's 4-way starts with everyone ganging up on Thekla before pairing off.
• Shida and Statlander are, at least temporarily on the same page early on, working as a unit against Jamie Hayter before she cuts them off. They end up getting both Hayter and Thekla in the corner and Stat charges in and body presses them with Shida narrowly getting out of the way. That leads to them exchanging words briefly, allowing Hayter to glom Shida from behind and send her into Statlander.
• Hayter and Stat both catch Thekla out of a crossbody, and they effective fallaway slam her when Shida wipes all three of them out with a missile dropkick. Shida tries for covers on Thekla and Hayter, each for a 1 count, before Statlander immediately throws her off and has some words for her as Shida begs off. Both Stat and Shida get schoolboyed for two counts.
• Statlander and Shida are back on a united front for the time being, with Kris calling for Shida to move before lining Hayter over the top rope and Shida hammer throwing Kris for an attempted tope onto Hayter. Statlander gets cut off by a boot on the apron from Thekla, then Shida just kicks Thekla in the back of the leg and she dies.
• Every time Statlander and Hayter meet in the ring this match neither can get the better of the other.
• Thekla does her spider taunt to Shida, preparing for a spear, so Statlander just picks her up into Staturday Night Fever position. Thekla slips out and shoves her into Hayter, who catches her into an exploder suplex, before booting Thekla in the jaw. Kris fights Jamie into the ropes and tries to whip her into a leaping knee from Shida, but Hayter reverses and Statlander gets wiped out instead.
• Thekla has Hayter in an octopus stretch that Hayter escapes with a backbreaker before hitting Hayterade. Shida breaks it up with a knee on Hayter at 2.
• Shida hits the Falcon Arrow on Hayter and rolls her into the most fucked-up looking ankle lock of all time and Statlander walks up and just grabs Shida by the throat and stands her up. Shida's begging off as Stat says "you're gonna do this to me?" She eventually releases the grip as Shida continues to apologize before just very lightly slapping her in the face and the brawl is on.
• Stat and Shida brawl on the floor until Shida gets thrown into the stairs. Stat turns her attention to Hayter, who she lays out with a pump kick, before getting back in the ring. Thekla tries for a spear but Statlander leapfrogs her, hits a couple thrust kicks, and puts Thekla down with Staturday Night Fever. That pin gets broken at 2 when Shida hits Statlander across the back with a kendo stick.
• Both Thekla and Statlander are laid out and it's not clear who Shida is targeting when she swings the kendo stick back again, but Hayter grabs the stick from the apron and pulls Shida over the top to the floor. A still-rising Statlander is completely vulnerable when Thekla hits her with the curbstomp to pick up the win and retain the title.
• There are several beach balls in the crowd throughout the Stadium Stampede.
• The Hurt Syndicate and GOA fight into the backstage hallways. Bobby tries to get the Hurt Lock on Toa but he fights out and headbutts him onto the ground. The camera pans over to LIO RUSH being a freak. He says "he"'s got it from here so Toa grabs Lio's lat and Lio just bites the fuck out of Toa's hand. Bobby beats Toa back as Lio jumps onto Toa's back.
• The Bucks brawl with the Dogs over to the merchandise stand where Matt hits David with a replica title and they both superkick Clark onto an escalator going upwards. A camera operator follows him all the way up.
• Back in the arena, Andrade is trying to take a selfie with a couple women when a tall figure with long blonde hair comes up behind him from the crowd. Turns out it's LUCHASAURUS in a wig. Luchasaurus starts chewing in Andrade's general direction and then yells at him which prompts Andrade to throw the phone at him. He does not know what to do with this phone so instead he just spits chewed onion into Andrade's face.
• Jack Perry and Mark Davis are now in catering. Perry fist bumps TOMMY INVINCIBLE who is just here for some reason. Davis bumps Perry and Tommy says leave him alone because we are invincible and Davis just decks him. Perry drop toe holds Davis into an upturned chair.
• The feed dies for like 15 seconds and when it comes back we see Andrade and Kenny standing off. Andrade charges Kenny who sidesteps him and he runs into the back of someone who is apparently eating an entire cake by himself. He stands up and turns around to reveal that he is SATNAM SINGH. Andrade slowly realizes this and says "holy shit... oh fuck... sorry boss." Satnam screams "FOOD FIGHT" as Andrade runs away and throws a jobber into Satnam so he just gorilla presses him and throws him into a table. All hell has broken loose in catering as Tony Schiavone mourns their "post-game meal." Luchasaurus is also back here.
• Toa Liona picks up an entire shopping cart over his head and hits Matt Jackson with it.
• We now go backstage into Generic Tennis Training Room where Ricochet and Jericho are fighting. Jericho knocks Ricochet down and opens a door to reveal LUTHER, the butler of Toni Storm, who presents to Jericho an enormous tennis racket. Jericho hits Ricochet with a few times before turning on a tennis ball shooter and throwing him into a loading bay door. Apparently the Stadium Stampede is falls count anywhere and Aubrey gives him a two count.
• Mark Davis with a bandage around his head is now in the back of the parking lot outside. He stumbles towards a golf cart and notices that a note has been stabbed into the back cushion with a knife. Picking it up, he reads "WAIT HERE ASSHOLE." The camera pans to reveal the Jurassic Express, which promptly crashes into and obliterates the golf cart. Jack Perry exits the bus, looks into the wreckage and shrugs annoyed as he turns around to go back into the arena.
• Apparently Mark Davis was not in that wreckage as back at ringside Bobby promptly spears him through a table leaning against the barricade. Kenny hits Andrade with a One Winged Angel off the apron through a table.
• Everyone runs a train on Ricochet before Bishop Kaun shoves him out of the way to take the bullet for him. Jericho pins him off the Lionsault.
• Darby immediately gets three two-counts in a row off side headlock takeovers on MJF before dropkicking him through the ropes to the floor. He goes for a tope suicida but Max shoves him out of the way and he lands COMPLETELY on his neck in one of the most horrifying bumps of this entire reign. Max spends a lot of this match focusing on that spot on the upper back.
• Max tries for a tombstone piledriver off the second but Darby switches control and gets a Stundog Millionaire out of it. He tries for a Coffin Drop but Max powders to the floor so instead he drills him on a bottom rope tope suicida that sends MJF tumbling over the announce desk.
• Darby's got Max's supine with his head positioned on the apron. He tries for a Coffin Drop guillotine-style off the ring post but MJF moves and Darby eats the apron. Max proceeds to hit a package piledriver on the side of the upturned ring stairs.
• Max wants the side headlock takeover himself but Darby throws him to the ropes. Referee Bryce Remsburg has to duck out of the way which gives Allin enough time to low blow Friedman and get a 2.9 off his own fourth side headlock takeover. Max double stomps Darby's extended arm off the second. His own lower back is in bad shape and Darby puts him in the Scorpion Death Lock. Max is able to get to the ropes to force a break so Darby scrambles up for the Coffin Drop but Max gets the knees up to generate a 2-count.
• MJF tries the Heatseeker for the second time, Darby shoves him away so he tries the forced slingshot cutter a second time but Darby lands on his feet into the Scorpion Death Drop. He wants the Coffin Drop but Max has rolled away so he jumps down and charges and Max takes over with the side headlock for a late 1 count. Darby takes his own for a 2 and Max rolls him over into a crucifix. They trade pins obsessively for a minute before Darby tries the Code Red. Max tries to counter into the Alabama Slam, Darby lands on his feet and is promptly met with a cross chop to the throat from Max who gets him up for a powerbomb. Darby pops out and hits the Code Red for a 2.
• Max charges Darby screaming "FUCK YOU!!!" and Darby takes over with the setup for Last Supper into a jackknife pin that gets him a near fall. MJF powders so Darby tries another tope; Max responds by grabbing the camera operator nearest the ring and pulling him into the path of Darby, who crashes and burns.
• Max fireman carries Darby over to the stage, where a barbershop setup has been erected with a chair, which he sets Darby down into before taking the electric razor from the table. Darby boots it out of his hand and applies a front guillotine with a body lock, sufficiently choking him out on the stage. Darby sees his chance. He picks up MJF and puts him on the table before looking up at the scaffolding supporting the screen above the entrance. Allin climbs all the way up what Tony Schiavone estimates to be about 20 feet, does Cactus Jack's taunt, and hits the Coffin Drop onto MJF through the table.
• The back of Darby's head is IMMEDIATELY opened up. Max is dead but the back of Allin's hair has been stained red with his own blood. This one is a gusher, and it's making it that much harder for Darby to stay on his feet as he tries to drag MJF back to the ring. Darby hits the Coffin Drop in the ring but only gets about a 2.7 or so.
• Darby gets the Scorpion Death Lock back in but his body gives out on him as he collapses out of it. The look on Max's face reflects what he knows--Darby's tank is empty. He stands up and throws Bryce out of the way, standing Darby up and applying a side headlock. Max screams "HEADLOCK" before Darby suddenly springs to life, taking over and hitting the Death Drop for the second time. Both men are supine for about 10 seconds before Darby kips up, going over and climbing up for the Coffin Drop but MJF lunges to the rope and crotches Darby. Max proceeds to hit a DISGUSTING tombstone off the second rope and that's enough to put Darby away once and for all. Bryce Remsburg is disgusted but hands MJF the belt anyway.
• Darby is rolled out of the ring onto a stretcher. Once the medical team straps him in, MJF gets up and kicks them out of the way, screaming "THIS IS MY MOMENT!" and posing with one foot on the stretcher holding up the title. Suddenly, he powders, as KEVIN KNIGHT sprints to the ring to chase him off. "Get your ass back here! You hear me? You hear me?" he yells at MJF, perching on the ropes with one foot on the middle and one on top.
• The EMTs have rolled Darby back towards the stage end of ringside. Suddenly, Kevin gets up and HITS THE UFO SPLASH ON DARBY before UPENDING THE STRETCHER WITH HIM STILL STRAPPED ONTO IT. He looks introspective for a moment, almost like he's reflecting on what he just did, before a slight smile appears on his face. MJF at the entranceway can't believe what he just saw but he's happy he saw it. The show fades to black zoomed in on the face of Kevin Knight breathing heavily, stone-faced staring at Darby.

DEVELOPMENTS

• On Zero Hour, JAY LETHAL and LEE JOHNSON are backstage. Jay Lethal takes exception to Samoa Joe, who he says was the mentor he picked for himself, walking around with a new protegé. He challenges Joe and Anthony Bowens to a tag match against the two of them on Collision tomorrow.
• Around 5 minutes in the opener, both Nigel McGuinness and Josh Woods put on headsets. Nigel, who's used two rope breaks, says that the match isn't going how he expected. Woods says it's going exactly how he expected, and now referee Mike Posey has put on a headset to tell them both that they can expect to get counted out if they don't get back in the ring.
• The story of this match is Nigel fucking with Josh by making him eat his rope breaks on tie-ups in the corner. Woods has used all three of them in the first 7 or so minutes of this 60-minute time limit. Nigel uses his last rope break after the 9-minute mark to escape an ankle lock.
• Nigel has to go to the Les Kellett rebound lariat several times to put away Woods, who only gets pinned by virtue of exhaustion. The two shake hands after the match.
• Red Velvet and Viva Van go to fucking war for the Women's Television Championship, but it's Red Velvet who's able to come out retaining the belt. In 15 career matches for that title, she's only dropped one. They have a display of sportsmanship after the match.
• ACTION ANDRETTI comes out to ringside midway through the Men's TV title match to support Lio Rush, who is still a freak. Towards the end, Lio goes and grabs the title belt. It's unclear what he intends to do with it, but Stephon Smith notices and takes it. While Stephon's occupied, Lio goes up top and Action Andretti suddenly gets up and shoves him off. AR Fox doesn't notice and only sees that Lio's downed, so he takes advantage and puts him away soon after. Andretti puts on a pair of shades.
• SAMMY GUEVARA backstage with Lexy Nair. The tag titles are not up for grabs tonight because Beast Mortos had visa issues, but they'll defend next month in Mexico. Sammy tells Lexy that he wants the AEW Men's World Championship so he calls out Darby Allin for Collision.
• ACTION ANDRETTI backstage. He says that he feels like in life, there's always a right or wrong, so when things got rough for Lio Rush, he told him to go do what he needed to do. But after call after call, he never heard a word from Lio, and on Zero Hour when he was attacked by RUSH, Lio was nowhere to be found. Action says he feels like he was forgotten, discarded, and disrespected when he was trying to do the right thing. A desire to cause pain has been awakened inside of him, he says, and adds that CRU is done. I'm not really sure if Andretti is fully aware of what's going on with Lio because that dude is not right but he's talking like Lio's fully cognizant.
• Ace Austin is frustrated following his defeat at the hands of Lee Moriarty, who made full usage of the ropes during his final pinfall attempt. It was a legal pin, though; both men had used all of their rope breaks. He's eventually able to get past it and shakes Lee's hand.
• RED VELVET backstage. She says it feels great to still have the TV title, but she's pissed that she's not in the Women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. But she knows Willow Nightingale is, and she wants her shot at the TBS Championship tomorrow night on Collision.
• Lexy Nair now welcomes Bustah and the Brain: JORDAN OLIVER and ALEC PRICE, who are on a winning streak in ROH. They're here to declare their intent to face Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos for the ROH tag titles. Alec challenges any tag team who's feeling froggy to come take them on. MIKE BENNETT and MATT TAVEN have returned. Mike says that when Dad's away, the kids get a little rambunctious, but now daddy's home. Matt takes exception to Oliver & Price calling out "their friend Frank" Mortos, and says that ROH is their house and their Kingdom. If Oliver and Price want their ROH tag titles, he says, they need to go through them. They shake hands.
• Shane Taylor Promotions have put out an open challenge for anyone besides Eddie Kingston, Ortiz, and Mance Warner, who they beat on HonorClub last night. That challenge is met by THE OUTRUNNERS and DALTON CASTLE.
• The boys are able to get the pinfall victory, but their celebration is short-lived as Shane Taylor Promotions quickly rush the ring and get their heat back. They're joined by LEE MORIARTY. That, too, is interrupted when ORANGE CASSIDY arrives and aura farms on the stage for a second. The real heater making the save is the return of MARK BRISCOE, who charges the ring with a chair.
• Following Mark Davis' successful defense, Lexy Nair is backstage with SHANE TAYLOR PROMOTIONS minus Ogogo and Adora. She tries to congratulate Lee Moriarty on his defense but Carlie cuts her off. Shawn takes umbrage with Orange Cassidy and Mike Briscoe sticking their nose in STP business. Shane says Mark knows what happens when people get between him and his championships, but adds that if they want to fight, they'll beat them down anytime, anywhere. Carlie says they're gonna get the ROH belts back, and Shawn proposes any members of STP versus any members of The Conglomeration, and if STP win, they get a shot at the AEW Trios titles.
• MARK BRISCOE and ORANGE CASSIDY are backstage to respond. Mark accepts their challenge and says that he and Kyle O'Reilly need to get tuned up for their Wednesday night matches. The word of the day, he says, is "hometown ass-whoopin'." It'll be Mark, Kyle, and Orange for Collision.
• ROH Men's World title on the line. Caprice says that Blake deserves this shot being undefeated in ROH singles action in 2026, but the issue comes from the way Christian's gone about that.
• Bandido has Blake set up on the apron, but Lee gets on the other side to distract referee Brandon Martinez. Jay Lethal gets on to fuck with Bandido, but eats a back elbow and thrust kick. It allows Blake to slip free, though, and he chop blocks Bandido before a Swirl Screwdriver from the ring to the floor.
• A few minutes later, Bandido starts climbing up top. Blake calls for attention from Martinez, and Jay starts trying to grab Bandido, but Martinez notices almost immediately and ejects both men. Bandido goes tope con giro to wipe them both out.
• Bandido has Blake set up for the grounded 21 Plex but Blake rolls over onto his back, shoots Bandido the double bird, and says "yeah, hit it like this, bitch." Bandido proceeds to hit it like that, bitch, doing a Northern Lights-style 21 Plex and rolling through for a second with locomotion. Blake kicks out at 2. Evidently that one is not as effective as the German.
• Christian clears off the announce desk and goes to drop Bandido on his whole shit, but it's Bandido who gets control and deadlift vertical suplexes him. That shit does NOT budge. Blake somehow kicks out of a 21 Plex in the ring afterward. Bandido survives a Poisonrana from the second and a springboard 450 not long after.
• Blake goes for his own 21 Plex but Bandido stymies that and they jockey for position with Blake on the apron until Bandido suplexes him back into the ring from the middle rope. Ian believes he's going up for the frog splash but it's a Shooting Star attempted by Bandido instead as Blake gets his knees up to block it. Christian hits Trouble in Paradise on Bandido and looks for a springback crossbody but he gets anti-aired with a dropkick. The ensuing double down results in a standing 10 count that's broken up at 9.
• Out of a strike exchange, Blake looks for his second Lethal Injection of the match but Bandido catches him into the X Knee. Blake lands on his feet but is staggered. Bandido charges him but Blake is able to come to long enough to count a rolling elbow into a C4 standing Spanish fly for a 2 count.
• Blake, for whatever reason, now grabs the title from the timekeeper's area and brings it to the ring. Brandon Martinez tells him to put it down so he just does. Blake grabs Bandido by the hair and says "I'm gonna take that shit from you! It's my fuckin' time, Bandido! My fuckin' time!" Bandido slaps the shit out of him so Blake goes to grab the belt. Martinez takes it and Christian low blows Bandido while his back is turned. The ensuing double curbstomp, though, is not quite enough to put away the champion. Blake's nearly exhausted his back of tricks.
•  Blake goes for a second stomp. Bandido pops him up for a powerbomb; Blake holds on to try a hurricanrana but Bandido holds on into a Styles Clash by the ropes. That allows him to get the grounded 21 Plex to retain. Bandido puts a bow on his ninth defense of the title this reign.
• Bandido celebrates with the title but he's suddenly jumped by SWERVE STRICKLAND, who hits a pair of House Calls on him. He goes to leave with PRINCE NANA, but turns around and sets up a chair in the ring before hitting a Vertebreaker onto it.
• For the first time, our main event is a women's Survival of the Fittest affair. This match starts with Athena grabbing Billie Starkz by the wrist and throwing her out to the floor before yelling at her to "stick to the plan." "Let these dumb bitches fight, okay? It's elimination. They're stupid. They're stupid." Everyone else has surrounded them at ringside so Athena grabs Billie and throws her into Zayda Steel and we're thoroughly underway.
• There's a four-woman International taking place in the ring; Zayda enters a cazadora with Athena and arm drags her into the corner. She goes into a do-si-do with Billie but they get turned around and run right into a double line from Trish Adora.
• It's the Maya World show early on here, with an Asai moonsault onto all five of her opponents followed by a Blockbuster to Athena in the ring. Yuka Sakazaki cuts her off with a missile dropkick, and Billie hits a Swanton onto Yuka. Trish picks up Billie and powerslams her before Zayda drops a double stomp onto Adora's back and gets a 2 count.
• Zayda picks up Billie but Athena bails her out and asks "are we on the same page now?" Billie rolls her eyes but goes along to perform a tag-team suplex on Zayda, who counters into a double DDT and shitcans Billie to the floor. Athena grounds her with a head scissors from the mat. Athena does the Megan Bayne fallaway slam-Samoan drop spot with Maya and Yuka.
• Zayda has introduced a chair into this match, and this is how we find out that apparently despite elimination rules being in effect, this is a no-disqualification affair. Zayda wipes everyone out before delivering a really shitty chair shot to Athena's back and setting it up in the corner. She tries to whip Athena into it, who's able to stop herself and misdirects Zayda into it instead. Athena schoolboys Zayda and puts her feet on the ropes to pin her. Mike Posey makes a big show about not seeing the feet on the ropes but given that we later find out that rope breaks are not in effect either, it's questionable whether it would have mattered. Zayda Steel is eliminated first after getting a little overzealous.
• More weapons are quickly introduced into the match with a second chair, a kendo stick, and a metal trash bin. Everyone but Athena is scuffling in the ring as Athena is somehow spawning ten fucking chairs from under the ring and stacking them at ringside. Billie sets up a table next to commentary.
• Maya goes for a dive from the ring onto Athena and Trish but runs directly into a chair held up by Athena. She starts exchanging words with Trish before slapping her on the apron and calling her a "dumb bitch," shoving her, and trying to get back in the ring. Adora responds by choke slamming Athena onto the stack of chairs she set up.
• Billie clears off the commentary desk and puts Trish onto it. They jockey for position momentarily but it's Trish that gets Starkz into a fireman's carry and hits an Air Raid Crash onto the desk which, again, does not budge. Adora forearms Athena onto the table that was set up by the desk and Yuka splashes her from the middle of the top rope through the table. She nearly overshoots and dies
• Yuka rolls Athena back into the ring but for some reason Trish has decided that instead of trying to eliminate the defending champion, she needs to focus on Sakazaki. She gets a 2 off a schoolboy and transitions a ducked lariat into a spinout backbreaker. She's looking for Lariat Tubman but Yuka ducks and Athena, now on her feet for a second, eats the full brunt of it. Once again, nobody's focused on eliminating the champ who's completely wiped out. Yuka instead hits her Magical Merry-Go-Round to pin Adora and eliminate her.
• Yuka's got the trash can. Athena tries to beg off but Yuka just brains her before hitting a Magical Girl Splash with the can. She covers Athena but Billie Starkz breaks it up at 2. Billie gets Yuka onto the second and pins her off a tombstone piledriver. We're down to 3.
• Athena's on the floor so it's Maya and a staggered Billie in the ring. They fight for a bit before Maya ducks a couple wild swings. Billie cuts herself off on the second, though, and grabs Maya into a Canadian Destroyer that gets a 2 count. Athena arrives with two kendo sticks, tossing Billie one of them, and they go to work on Maya. Athena now retrieves an enormous ladder from under the ring. Maya's basically wiped out for the time being so I guess they've decided to set up spots. As Athena and Billie go to position the ladder in the corner, though, Maya kicks Billie in the back which traps Athena between the turnbuckles and the ladder.
• Billie goes up to the middle rope but Maya sledges her in the back. They're grappling up there when Athena, who's freed herself from the corner, goes to strike Maya, who ducks, and Athena catches Billie in the jaw instead. Maya bumps Athena to the floor and flings Billie out of the corner schoolboy style before eliminating her with a jack knife pin. We're down to Athena and Maya World.
• Athena goes to grab the title belt from the timekeeper's area and tells ring announcer Bobby Cruise that his suit sucks. Maya ducks a big swing with the belt from Athena and forearms her before an Even Flow DDT on the apron gets her a 2 count. Maya's keeping the pressure on, hitting Sweet Dreams for a second near fall in a row.
• Maya now puts Athena in an ankle lock. Athena gets to the ropes but referee Mike Posey tells her there's no rope breaks, and she's evidently unable to extend her arms long enough to get any kind of leverage to pull herself to the apron. Billie has not left ringside after her elimination, and she's now here with a towel. Commentary tells us that Billie is a licensed secondary, which means she is permitted to throw in the towel and give up on Athena's part even in a match that she was once actively in. She's clearly distressed about this and nearly throws the towel in but Athena knocks it out of her hand and grabs her to pull her into the ring to escape the hold.
• With no disqualifications, Billie takes a swing at Maya, who ducks and shotgun dropkicks her into the ladder. Maya goes for an axe kick on a seated Athena but Athena catches her and has a hold on her inner thigh. Maya tries to fight out of the hold but Athena plants her with a sidewalk slam. She hits Maya in the midsection with a chair before using Billie's back as a stepstool to climb that ladder set up in the corner and hit the O-Face on Maya from about 10 feet in the air to get the pinfall and retain the title for the 36th time in this marathon reign.
• DIAMANTÉ comes out to celebrate post-match with Athena. Billie has no idea what to make of any of this, and that's not made any better by the fact that Diamanté convinces Athena to start berating Billie, who's torn in a sea of emotions. Billie's overwhelmed as Athena chews her out and screams "GET OVER IT!" at her. We go off the air with Athena screaming at Billie as she walks to the back. Diamanté and Athena return to celebrating in the ring.

DEVELOPMENTS

• WAYNE BRADY is in the front row tonight. SHANE TAYLOR, after making QT spill out of the ring with a low bridge on the ropes, is arguing with him during the opener and takes his hat off and spikes it. Wayne had told Lexy Nair earlier in the show that his finish would be the "Bitch Slap," and he indeed uses it on Shane. Shane grabs him by the collar and pulls him over the railing, so THE RIZZLER comes to emote at Shane and Shane just pushes him over. TRISH ADORA is now twerking. BIG JUSTICE in response to this injustice spears Shane and AJ hits a crossbody to the floor on all three of them. They team up for the Boomsday Device on Carlie to pick up the win.
• Earlier in this match, Carlie had to get between Christyan XO and The Rizzler at ringside because he was doing his emote at her and she was starting to get flustered. He truly has the "rizz" as they say
• Willow narrowly retains the TBS title with a backslide. MEGAN BAYNE charges the ring and she and Lena stomp her out before HARLEY CAMERON makes the save with a steel pipe in hand. The damage to Willow, who was already showing signs of an injured shoulder, may have already been done.
• Jack Perry arrives to the Blackjack Battle Royals in the actual Jurassic Express. It's a modified school bus. LUCHASAURUS is driving. I'm not sure that's legal given his arm is in a cast but laws also might not apply to dinosaurs.
• GOA come out with Ricochet but the referees tell them to go to the back because they're not in the match. LIO RUSH is in this match but he's running around on all fours bald style with scary contacts
• Komander and Daniel Garcia fighting with Komander on the apron; Danny rips Komander's mask clean off, and while he covers his face, he's not able to stay on the apron. Danny puts the mask on but gets merked by Ciampa.
• Perry and Ricochet are the final two in the Battle Royale. Ricochet heads to the apron off a banderas and tries to suplex Perry from the apron to the floor. Eventually he tries to back body drop him over; Jack holds on and tries to powerbomb Ricochet while dangling over the floor before muscling back up onto the apron. Ricochet tries to double stomp him but he slides back under the ropes into the ring and superkicks Ricochet onto his back. Perry goes up top but Ricochet grabs his head and puts him into a fireman's carry; Perry counters into a Poisonrana on the apron for the win. Ricochet throws a tantrum on the floor while Perry celebrates with his family at ringside.
• The Bucks get a really long video package before their entrance featuring their kids talking about them.
• We're like not even 5 minutes into this men's tag title match and both Nick and Dax have gigged lol
• Dax is taunting the Bucks' family in the front row while holding Matt; he jaws with Malachi for a second before Malachi throws his beer into Dax's face. Cash goes for a tope on Matt who ducks and takes out Dax with inadvertent friendly fire. Dax kicks out of a crossbody off the top from Matt.
• The Bucks have FTR in stereo Sharpshooters. Dax nearly taps out and Cash has to grab his hand and literally bite it to prevent it.
• Cash charges Matt with one of the title belts in the ring to try to get DQed but Matt dodges and Cash spills to the floor.
• The Bucks want the Meltzer Driver on Cash, but now Stokely is up out of his wheelchair to grab the ankle of Nick. He sits back down before Rick Knox turns around, but when Nick does go for the springboard, Cash throws Matt out of the way and Nick eats a Shatter Machine but kicks out at 2.9. He promptly eats a spike piledriver; Rick Knox makes the 3 count, but Nick gets his foot on the rope at 2 and Knox refuses to call for the bell.
• FTR are now doing some of the shittiest thrust kicks I've ever seen and they hit the "FTR Trigger" on Nick, but Nick kicks out at 1 and fires up. He fights off FTR for a bit before they go for a rebound Shatter Machine but Matt tackles Cash to break it up and Nick victory rolls through for a 2 on Dax. The Bucks hit a Shatter Machine of their own on Dax. The BTE Trigger connects on Dax who has to kick out clean because Cash stumbles getting back in the ring.
• Cash crashes and burns on a tackle through the ropes so with only Dax in the ring, Nick decides he's just going to kill Stokely with a tope. They hit the Meltzer Driver on Dax but of course he just kicks out because it's Dax Harwood and nothing matters. Nigel is now putting over AEW on comms and this is where the match lost me.
• Matt gets Dax up for More Bang For Your Buck but FTR fight out. Matt eats a spike piledriver and Nick takes an avalanche Shatter Machine to retain. Stokely has abandoned all pretense of the wheelchair.
• ADAM COPELAND and CHRISTIAN CAGE are back and they kill FTR. Stokely eats a Killswitch before getting shitcanned to the floor. The expected outcome has come to pass. The segment ends with FTR on the floor and C&C laying out the belts while the Bucks kinda just look at them in the ring.
• Marina's entrance starts with her doing ring around the rosie with Danny and Yuta. They gotta explain why they do this it is NOT intimidating
• Toni is celebrating on the ramp when noted stupid asshole RONDA ROUSEY gets in the ring and taunts her. She's friends with Marina so I guess she gets to work here. Nobody wanted this, and frankly, I will not be writing about her in the recap. As far as this blog is concerned, she does not exist from here on.
• Jon Moxley becomes the first man to ever escape Takeshita's Raging Fire, but Takeshita trades off by kicking out of a gnarly Death Rider. He also escapes a Death Rider off the top but it really looked more like a butterfly superplex. Takeshita goes to sleep on a rear naked choke. Moxley offers Takeshita a handshake after the match; Takeshita initially snubs him, but before he leaves the ring, changes his mind and accepts it.
• We get a very dramatic video package featuring WILL OSPREAY, who returns and charges Jon Moxley with a Hidden Blade. The rest of the Death Riders come after him but he lays them out. Moxley escapes before Ospreay can do any more damage to him.
• Renee Paquette backstage in the trainer's room with the BABES OF WRATH. Willow is banged up but cleared to compete nonetheless. They've got a job to do.
• Prince Nana retrieves a cinder block from under the ring. They set Brody King's head up on it with the intent to Swerve Stomp him, but KENNY OMEGA makes the save.
• Thekla wins the first fall in the women's world title match by grabbing the bottom rope for leverage on a bridging cover. Paul Turner's view of it is obscured by their bodies. Stat does tie it up much later off Staturday Night Fever.
• Paul Turner gets bumped quickly into the final fall and Thekla responds by taking his fucking belt off and trying to attack Statlander with it. Stat intercepts it and whips her before another piledriver gets her a visual eight count but there's no ref. The SISTERS OF SIN arrive and Stat kills both of them pretty easily. Stat goes back to the belt but Paul Turner is back and admonishes her; Thekla hits a spear and two curbstomps to take it home. The Sisters of Sin have to repeatedly hold her back from continuing to attack Statlander and risk getting the decision reversed.
• JetSpeed come out for this trios title match in Místico-themed gear complete with masks. Mark Davis ends up ripping the masks off of each of them during the heat.
• Speedball's going for the Flamingo Driver on Kyle, but Mark gets in the ring with a chair to distract the referee Bryce Remsburg. Kevin pulls Mark out from the floor, but it allows Kyle to go to Speedball's eyes and slip out. Okada hands Kyle one of the trios belts and Kyle swings at Speedball who ducks and lands a tope on Okada. Back in the ring, Kevin spikes Kyle with a pendulum DDT and holds him in place for Speedball to connect with the Ultima Weapon. Mark trucks Kevin into the cover to break it up.
• Both Jet and Speedball are left to Close Their Eyes by Davis, but Místico is able to break the pin on Speedball before getting shitcanned to the floor by Okada. Davis goes for a rebound lariat on Speedball but gets caught with a nasty roundhouse; now Fletcher needs to break up the pin. Bailey is able to fight out of a brainbuster from Fletcher and Kevin makes the tag as Bailey triangle moonsaults onto Kyle on the floor. Okada has to break up a Knight pin on Davis following a GTFO lariat.
• Kyle wants something off the top on Knight, but Místico pulls him off, ducks a line, and locks in La Mística. Jet's still up top when Speedball nails Davis with Time Adventure and Knight is able to vault Fletcher and Místico to crush Dunkzilla with the UFO Splash in the center of the ring for the 3-count.
• MÍSTICO IS ALL ELITE!!!!!!!! The graphic appears on screen during the celebration following their victory. An emotional moment for everyone in the ring.
• Don Callis comes out with Andrade. This is the only match where he is on commentary.
• Bandido is here in a Super Dragon-themed mask tonight. It's one of several Super Dragon tributes; for this one Excalibur talks about Super Dragon like he's dead. He is very much not dead.
• Andrade won't take his pants off, so instead Bandido rips off his tearaway pants. He can't get them off from around his ankles, though, so Andrade charges him to the mat and then teases taking his off but refuses. After he does eventually take them off, he goes and takes a selfie with another woman at ringside.
• Andrade goes for a double stomp off the top on Bandido who's hung in the tree of woe, but Bandido drops down and avoids it. He ducks a line and applies a rear waistlock, and Andrade's efforts to escape lead to him getting backed towards the corner before Bandido German suplexes him as hard as he fucking can into the bottom turnbuckle pad.
• Andrade goes for Three Amigos but Bandido nips behind before the last one and goes for three Germans. Andrade goes for it again after countering the third one and Bandido nips behind again and is able to get all three of his Germans off.
• Andrade hits an Orihara moonsault over the ring post onto Bandido and promptly goes and takes a selfie with a second woman. He apparently puts his number in her phone but I don't believe for a second that he was able to haphazardly type in his number with the glove on.
• Bandido hits the X-Knee and goes for the 21 Plex but instead gets fucking killed with the pump fake back elbow from Andrade. Andrade tries to stay on him but Bandido is able to get him up into a fireman's carry, pops him up, and just rolling wheel kicks Andrade in the back of the head. Even Danielson can't figure out how the hell he did it. Andrade is collapsed by the bottom rope and Bandido just says fuck it and hits him with a deadlift 21 Plex that Andrade, of course, kicks out of. Bandido now hits another X-Knee and goes for a proper 21 Plex but Andrade backflips out onto his feet and turns Bandido inside out with another pump fake back elbow before hitting the DM from the second rope to win it.
• David Finlay has brought his shillelagh out for this tornado trios match; conversely, Orange Cassidy has brought out the $15 gift card that was promised as a reward for finding Roddy. He gives it to Roddy. Roddy tosses it behind him.
• Darby makes his way to the apron by a banderas and tries to charge Gabe Kidd who's also there but Clark Connors spears him to the floor through the ropes full force.
• After Roddy and Orange break up a pin on Darby after a Doomsday Device, Gabe and David tie the tag rope around the throat of Darby and single him out. Orange and Roddy are eventually able to get the upper hand in the 2-on-3 exchange with Roddy picking up Orange and literally throwing him full force at both Gabe and Clark. I imagine the concession made for Roddy to come back was that they have to do things his way.
• A "PLEASE HELP DARBY" chant has broken out and Orange retrieves from a toolbox under the ring a pair of scissors and a zip tie, the former of which he uses to free Darby who immediately lands a Coffin Drop on all three of the Dogs on the floor.
• Gabe sets Darby up on the top rope and just shoves him and Darby takes the apron on his fucking neck and tumbles to the floor. Gabe retrieves Darby's skateboard and goes to swing it but Darby fights back and now they're scuffling. Gabe tries to suplex Darby off the ramp to the floor but Darby counters with a headbutt and drops onto Gabe with his skateboard.
• Back in the ring, Clark and David spear and chop block Roddy Total Elimination style but Orange is able to break the pin. He hits a crucifix-style Dominator from David and Roddy takes No Chaser from Connors; David hits Overkill on Strong but it's a little weak and Darby breaks up Finlay's pin with a Coffin Drop. They cut back to the ramp where Gabe's arm has been zip tied to the stage, giving the Dogs a 2-on-3 disadvantage. A knee from Roddy, an Orange Punch, and End of Heartache leads to Roddy shoving Orange onto Connors to get the pinfall victory.
• Veteran touch from MJF during the main event introductions: Max notices that Hangman's getting a smattering of boos, so he tells Justin Roberts to introduce him as being "not from a piece of shit town like Los Angeles" to get the heat back on him.
• Not terribly long into this main event, Hangman retrieves a full glass window from the timekeeper's area and sets it up in the corner. MJF goes to the eyes to stop him and just takes the window and breaks it in the middle of the ring and tells the camera "YOU AIN'T GONNA CATCH ME DOIN' THAT INDIE BULLSHIT" as if there isn't a Bunch of Fucking Glass in the center of the ring now. Hangman almost immediately slams him onto the glass and then gets dragged through it by the legs. A few minutes later, MJF stabs Page in the head with a shard before slamming him and dragging him through it the same way. Max promptly grabs a push broom from under the ring and sweeps the glass onto the floor.
• 15-minute mark here. MJF has retrieved, of course, a syringe and stabs it straight through the cheek of Hangman and just leaves it there. He goes to hit Hangman over the head with a chair the same way Page did to Swerve Strickland but Hangman is able to counter with the syringe still stuck in his cheek.
• More wrestlers should do Alabama Slams. They're really good visuals.
• We get some will-they-won't-they on the apron with a table set up beside it that leads to Hangman hitting a Deadeye onto a chair wrapped in barbed wire. Page is on his feet at 8, MJF at 9. MJF eats a fallaway slam into the same chair in the corner a minute later.
• Hangman decides he needs to do an Orihara moonsault while holding the chair for some reason. MJF just avoids it and chucks the chair at Page's face. Dipshit
• MJF wants the Heatseeker from the apron onto the barbed wire chair. Page counters with a Deadeye through the table. The table only breaks after they fucking bounce off it. Nasty stuff
• We're at the 25-minute mark of this match and Hangman's got MJF up for another Deadeye through a table on the other side of the ring, but MJF slips out and bites Hangman's head before getting him with a tombstone through the table. This one went way better than when they tried it in their last match. Hangman barely scrambles to his feet at 9 before collapsing again; for some reason that fully breaks the count.
• Both men have retrieved light tubes from opposite ends of the ring. It looks like we're going to get a duel of the fates, but MJF powders up the apron. Hangman gives chase; they each miss a couple swings and MJF looks ready to break his tube over Page's back but he gets gut kicked and Hanger breaks one over Max's back and another straight over his head.
• 32 minutes in, we've got some more will-they-won't-they at the end of the stage towards production equipment, but nobody ends up going off and they fight back to the ring. Hangman now retrieves an entire fist full of wooden skewers. He wins a test of strength and embeds them in Max's skull before they fly off on a Buckshot Lariat. Bryce Remsburg is really breaking out the theatrics for this count. MJF is able to scramble to his feet at 9 before eating another boot.
• Hangman has now retrieved a double dog collar from a black bag under the ring. He links himself and his opponent together; Max finally comes to and realizes the situation he's been put in as he tries to escape the ring but it's far too late. Tony Schiavone very excitedly rips off "PTSD... Revolution style!"
• At the 37-minute mark, Hangman clears out the broken table on the ramp side of the ring to set up a new one. The crowd is chanting "WE WANT FIRE" but nobody answers Hangman's search for a lighter so I guess we're not doing that. Instead he retrieves a barbed wire board. They battle on the apron and Hangman goes up to the second turnbuckle for some reason so MJF grabs the collar and whips him onto the board. Table smashes, barbed wire in back, you know how it is. Hangman up at 9 and a half.
• We're fighting back up the ramp to the edge of the stage again. Neither man can get the other off the edge so Hangman says fuck it, bear hugs him, and just throws them both off through a table littered with electrical equipment. Lots of explosions and pyrotechnics. A double knockout would result in MJF retaining the championship, but both men are up at 9. Hangman is now literally walking MJF on all fours like a dog. Tony Schiavone says "he's a good boy!" like Jerma talking about Otto, God rest his soul.
• Back at the ring here at the 43-minute mark, Hangman's going for a second Buckshot but similar to how he did a month ago, MJF bounces him on that thang with a low blow. Max retrieves the belt and the shot connects but Hangman is back on his feet at 9 and a half again. Max gets a low blow and belt shot for his troubles. He wants another Buckshot, but Max punches Hangman with the Dynamite Diamond Ring and is able to choke him over the top rope with the dog collar. Hangman's out cold by the time Max lets go, and after his blood is smeared on the camera lens by bouncing off it, Remsburg makes the 10 count. MJF retains. Hangman is loaded onto a stretcher as Max gets on top of him to pose with the belt.
