    • Interference against Toa Liona by MYRON REED

DEVELOPMENTS

  • Prior to the opener, Renee Paquette asks MARINA SHAFIR about the origin of Moxley's pre-match slap. Marina says "There is no peace for great men; and there is no pain in that slap, only joy."
  • We get a dramatic video package showing the assault on Kenny Omega by Swerve Strickland last week. PRINCE NANA has the house mic to interrupt it and starts yelling at comms about the $100,000 fine assessed to Swerve being meaningless. He demands all three of Excalibur, Nigel, and Tony get up out of their seats. SWERVE STRICKLAND is now here on top of the announce desk. He's still getting a pop lol he says he feels no guilt for attacking Kenny because he warned him that whatever happened next was on him. Swerve is still bitter over Kenny calling Brody the most dangerous man in AEW. Swerve calls back to the week of All In Texas and talking to Hangman. Hangman asked Swerve if he regrets any of what he did to get to the world title, and at the time, he said he did; but now he realizes that was the most successful point in his career, and going forward, he chooses to live life with no regrets. Swerve announces that the entire AEW roster is on notice.
  • BRODY KING and BANDIDO backstage. Brody says if Swerve has a problem with him, he's got a problem with Swerve thinking he deserves to be champion.
  • Gabe Kidd pulls Bryce Remsburg in the way of Orange going for the Orange Punch, then gouges Orange's eyes afterward before hitting a leaping piledriver for the win. CLARK CONNORS gets in the ring to beat him down afterwards. DARBY ALLIN is now here to make the save. He clocks Gabe, hits a Code Red on Clark, and Orange lays out Gabe with the Orange Punch.
  • Excalibur tells us that KRIS STATLANDER is now medically cleared. We also find out that THUNDER ROSA will challenge Thekla for the world title on Dynamite in one week. Renee Paquette is now backstage with both women. Rosa says she doesn't have time to play "stupid little games" with Thekla. Kris tells her to be careful. After Rosa leaves, Renee asks Statlander why she's so concerned about her taking the match. Stat simply shakes her head and walks away.
  • Kevin Knight cuts a promo after his match gassing up Hangman and says that when Hangman wins the title back, he'd love to be his first challenger.
  • It's time for MJF and HANGMAN ADAM PAGE to sort some shit out with Tony Schiavone in the ring. MJF admits that Hangman was brave to offer up any future challenges of the world title if he loses at Revolution. MJF says he's figured out a way to fairly decide the stipulation: they'll flip a coin: tails, Hangman gets his Texas Death; heads, MJF gets a "one-way no DQ" match where only Hangman can get disqualified. Hangman agrees but he wants to make sure MJF knows what he's getting into. What if MJF is ripped apart by broken glass or barbed wire? Hangman's put his entire future on the line because if he's challenging for the title at Revolution, he wants this to be it, and if he can't beat a piece of shit like MJF, then he doesn't deserve the championship.
    • Max flips the coin... it comes up heads. Max starts leaving, but Hangman asks for the quarter. MJF refuses and then starts to leave but is rebuffed by JETSPEED and BRODIDO. Hangman says he knows MJF, and there's no way he would leave this to chance. MJF tries to plow through the four men but relents. Hangman is looking at the coin: both sides are heads. Tony Schiavone is announcing to the crowd that, as a result, Tony Khan has made an executive decision that the match will indeed be Texas Death at Revolution. MJF knows he's in deep shit.
  • We hear from the BRAWLING BIRDS after Dynamite last week. Alex Windsor says they're here to beat the piss out of people and they don't give a fuck. Jamie scolds her and says that they're the Birds--they don't give a flying fuck.
  • LENA KROSS shows up at the end of the tag title match and attacks Willow with one of the tag titles. She and Megan beat down Willow and Harley before Megan stands tall. Penelope, who wasn't on the apron at any point in the last three or so minutes of the match, had attempted a moonsault onto both Willow and Harley earlier on, but landed directly on her feet after neither woman caught her. The assumption is that it's a lower body injury of some sort.
  • Brody's got a mic after his match and he calls out Swerve for a match at Revolution. Bandido's here, too, and he wants a fight at Revolution too--ANDRADE EL ÍDOLO is here to answer the call.
  • Renee Paquette backstage with the TNT Champion KYLE FLETCHER, who responds to Tommaso Ciampa's comments from Collision by saying that Ciampa stepped in the ring with the very best and he came up short. The International Champion KAZUCHIKA OKADA is here and says that he's proud of Fletcher; they've both consistently been champions, unlike Takeshita. He says he considers Kyle his best friends and wants to team up as Protokada on Collision. They shake on it.
  • This main event is fucked up man. It's just Anarchy in the Arena-level mayhem the entire time. Jack Perry's out first but The Demand and FTR jump him on the floor and the babyfaces have to rush down the ramp to even the numbers. Tarzan Boy is playing on loop for the first, like, five minutes here. Nigel McGuinness has gone over the audience barrier for a significant chunk of this match.
    • Stokely is in a Bandido mask for some reason as Cash tries to charge Nick using Stokely as a battering ram. Cash gets taken out with a trash can, Nick tries to roll Stokely down the stairs, but Cash just pushes Nick down anyway. Later on, Nick uses a fan's replica belt and clocks Cash in the head.
    • Toa Liona tries to dump Dezmond Xavier off the stage, but he slips out. Toa gets him back up into a one-armed gorilla press. MYRON REED is now here with a fire extinguisher, though, and blasts Toa in the face with before clocking him in the back with the canister before diving over the top rope and decking him with a cutter. Dax throws a line at Myron but he ducks, springs back up, and lands an enzuigiri. Now Cash tries to grab him by his shoulders from the apron but again he drops down, kips up, and hits a sidekick before going for a Senton Atomico on FTR. They catch him, though, and facebuster him on the announce desk.
    • Jack Perry now takes out FTR from over the top before finding a vacuum cleaner under the ring. Dax has grabbed the fucking house mic to ask for help but he and Cash get rammed in the gut with the EXTREMELY FULL vacuum. He takes out the canister as Toa tries to grab him by his hair from the ring and swings it up and that bitch EXPLODES. Perry goes up and hits a diving DDT from the top for a 2 count before it gets broken up.
    • Bishop gets Jack up for an attempted springboard Doomsday Device by Ricochet but gets anti-aired by Nick Jackson with a trash can. Now Bishop has a rear waistlock on Matt, but Matt ducks and Nick throws the can at Bishop's head too. Sliced Bread follows before Nick fucking domes him again. The Bucks go for the hanging double stomp + Liger Bomb combination on Ricochet onto the trash can, but Ricochet gets way too much height and Matt massively overshoots the can, so they call an audible and Nick hits a Swanton onto Ricochet with the can on top of him. Ricochet kicks out clean at 2.
    • Jack Perry very nearly gets Toa Liona up for a piledriver but takes a back body drop You Need to Leave-style over the top through a table. Ricochet charges Zach in the ring but a low bridge has him crash and burn. Wentz gets an enzuigiri to lay out Dax and does some shitty striking on Cash before landing a German. He does a fucking standing Violence Party to Bishop for eating a disgusting headbutt from Toa. The Demand are triple-teaming Dezmond in the ring before FTR get involved. Power and Glory on a superplex from Dax and Bishop, a splash from Cash, then a diving headbutt from Toa and a springboard 450 from Ricochet but Wentz and the Bucks are here to break up the pin.
    • FTR go for a spike piledriver on Matt but he counters out and catapults Dax into Cash before a step-up Frankensteiner from Nick who eats a DDT from Dax. Matt gets Dax with a superkick feint and lays him out with a DDT of his own. Now we're over on the fucking barricade where both of the Rascalz have Ricochet up and put him down with a double team Spanish Fly through a table that fucking shatters. Camera cuts to a random woman in the crowd.
    • Bishop wants a Tiger Driver on Dezmond but the crowd has noticed that there's still two tables set up at ringside. He slips out. The Bucks have Toa on the apron and are trying to put him through one of the two tables, but he won't let go of the ropes. Jack Perry sunset flips over for an attempted powerbomb but isn't strong enough until the Bucks superkick Toa and send him crashing down.
    • Dax goes for a schoolboy and gets a 2 on Nick before they try a Shatter Machine but Matt gets Cash out of the way and lines Dax over the top. Cash hasn't taken a suicidal bump yet this match so the Bucks send him full speed through the middle rope headfirst through the last table leaning against the barricade.
    • Everyone's getting their shit in. The Rascalz get Hot Fire Flame on Bishop, Perry gets a Destroyer on Ricochet, who promptly eats a BTE Trigger and an assisted Glass Jaw for the 3 count.
